Responsibilities
Prepare fresh sushi, sashimi, and other Japanese dishes with precision and artistry
Handle food ingredients safely, following all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Assist in meal preparation and cooking processes to ensure timely service
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi station and kitchen area
Serve customers with friendly, attentive service, explaining menu items as needed
Follow recipes and presentation standards to deliver consistent quality
Support the team during busy hours by efficiently managing multiple tasks

Qualifications




Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food handling within a restaurant or food industry setting
Strong knowledge of sushi making techniques and Japanese cuisine fundamentals
Experience in food service roles that require serving customers directly
Familiarity with kitchen safety protocols and proper food handling procedures
Ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude toward teamwork
Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is highly preferred; certification in food safety is a plus
