They coordinate and conduct mechanical construction, support capital projects, and perform new or retrofit installations.Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose problems and repair mechanical equipment for all water and wastewater systems.Conduct facilities maintenance including heating and cooling, odor control, plumbing and civil works.Coordinate mechanical construction, support capital projects and manage new or retrofit installations.Plan and design, source parts and materials and commission equipment.Ensure construction and maintenance activities are completed in compliance with TSSA Regulations and standard trade practices.Purchase, organize and store replacement equipment and parts and ensure appropriate inventory of replacement parts.Install, repair and maintain mechanical controls.Fabricate, install and maintain mechanical distribution process piping and associated fixtures.Install and maintain chemical dosing, process fluid and gas distribution systems.Support the servicing and testing of standby and emergency devices.Develop preventative maintenance strategies consistent with OEM recommendations, operational and regulatory compliance requirements and corporate asset management goals.Support the planning and prioritization of work and ensure all preventative maintenance and calibration activities are documented.Schedule and support contractor and third-party testing and perform necessary corrective action.Support the development of standard operating procedures.Comply with all health and safety requirements,



maintain a safe work setting, report hazards and promote a culture of safety in the workplace.Education, Certification and Other Qualifications RequiredKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesAdvanced analytical and problem‑solving skills.Advanced understanding of electrical and mechanical theory, schematic diagrams, construction drawings and technical documentation.Advanced knowledge of mechanical construction.Advanced ability to plan, organize and coordinate work.Advanced ability to work independently.Intermediate proficiency with MS 365.Intermediate communication skills.Intermediate mathematical and measurement skills.Advanced knowledge of occupational health and safety requirements as it relates to individual, organizational and operational requirements.Qualifications433A Industrial Millwright certification.Post‑secondary diploma in a related engineering technology field is preferred.Four years experience in water or wastewater or an industrial environment.Class G driver’s license.Special Working Conditions / Conditions of EmploymentApplicant must be capable of walking, lifting and climbing and perform the physical demands of the position.Maintain the minimum licensing requirements as a Millwright.Ability to obtain Industrial Maintenance Technician certification.Ability to work a rotational on‑call schedule and the ability to work overtime as required.Maintain a valid Class G driver’s license throughout employment.
