Our client is a busy, well-established Dartmouth restaurant looking for a Line Cook / Grill Cook to join their kitchen team.

This is a great chance for someone who enjoys a fast-paced kitchen, knows their way around a grill, and takes pride in putting out great food.

And just as importantly — this is a kitchen where respect matters. The team works hard, supports each other, and keeps the environment positive. No yelling, no toxic kitchen culture.

What you'll be doing
Cooking steaks and other menu items to order and to the guest's specifications
Working the grill/line during busy service
Preparing ingredients and completing daily kitchen prep
Following recipes, portion standards and presentation guidelines
Keeping your station clean, organized and ready for service
Working with the kitchen team to get orders out accurately and on time
Following food safety, sanitation and safe food-handling practices
Helping with inventory and letting management know when supplies are running low




Taking care of kitchen equipment and reporting any issues

What we're looking for

You don't need to have a fancy title or a long list of credentials. We're looking for someone who:
Has previous line cook, grill cook, prep cook or restaurant kitchen experience
Is comfortable cooking steak and other food to order
Can keep up when the kitchen gets busy
Takes pride in quality and consistency
Works well as part of a team
Shows up, works hard and treats coworkers with respect
