We are looking for an experienced Automotive Lift & Suspension Technician to join our team in Fort St. John.
This position is primarily focused on truck suspension, lift kits, leveling kits and aftermarket accessory installations. We are looking for someone who already has hands-on experience with suspension work and can complete installations safely, accurately and efficiently.
Responsibilities
Install lift kits and leveling kits
Install shocks, struts, coilovers and suspension components
Replace and install control arms, ball joints, tie rods and related steering/suspension components
Install aftermarket truck suspension upgrades
Diagnose suspension and steering concerns
Perform suspension inspections before and after installations
Install wheels and tires when required
Perform or assist with wheel alignments
Install selected aftermarket truck accessories
Follow manufacturer torque specifications and installation procedures
Road-test vehicles and verify completed work
Maintain a clean and organized work area
What We're Looking For
Previous lift kit and leveling kit installation experience required
Robust knowledge of truck suspension systems
Experience working on Ford,
GM, Ram and other light-duty trucks
Comfortable working with aftermarket suspension systems
Strong mechanical and troubleshooting ability
Able to work independently
Positive attention to detail
Must take pride in clean, skilled installations
Valid driver's licence
Experience with brands such as BDS, Rough Country, ReadyLIFT, FOX, Bilstein, Cognito, Fabtech or similar aftermarket suspension products is an asset.
Automotive Service Technician/Red Seal certification is an asset, but we are primarily looking for someone with real hands-on suspension and lift-kit installation experience.
