Duties
Safely operate delivery vehicles, including trucks and vans, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Load, unload, and secure freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts and other heavy machinery
Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles before and after trips to ensure optimal functioning and safety compliance
Deliver freight to designated locations promptly while providing exceptional customer service
Manage documentation related to deliveries, including manifests, invoices, and delivery receipts




Perform minor automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to maintain vehicle performance
Operate heavy equipment like forklifts for loading and unloading cargo efficiently and safely

Skills
Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid driver’s license suitable for the vehicle type
Certification in forklift operation and heavy equipment handling
Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety protocols
Ability to perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate documentation
Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members
Physical stamina to lift heavy items, stand for extended periods, and operate machinery effectively
