About the Role

DMSE is hiring a Survey Crew Chief to run a one-person field crew focused primarily on legal (boundary/property) surveys. You'll work independently in the field, operating GPS and total station equipment to gather the data our projects depend on. Prior survey experience is an asset but not required — we're willing to train the right person.

Responsibilities
Independently run a one-person survey crew with minimal supervision
Conduct legal surveys, including property boundary work
Operate and maintain GPS and total station survey equipment
Work outdoors in varying weather and terrain conditions
Perform physically demanding fieldwork (walking uneven ground, carrying equipment, etc.)
Accurately record and report field data

Qualifications
Survey experience is an asset, but not required — full training provided
Familiarity with property boundaries is helpful
Comfortable and reliable working outdoors in all conditions




Physically able to perform demanding field work
Able to work independently and exercise sound judgment unsupervised
Valid driver's license

Pay: $20.00-$40.00 per hour
