While cafe experience is preferred, you do not need any experience in coffee to apply. What you will need is a keen interest in coffee and service and a desire to learn. Mostly, though, the skills necessary to be a excellent barista involve waking up early, day in and day out, and serving a community of customers and coworkers with kindness and hard work.
