We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 1 year experience operating forklifts and working in a warehouse environment. The positon is for our afternoon shift 3:45pm to 11:00pm Monday to Friday with Saturday as needed.
Duties:
Operate a forklift to move materials within the warehouse and production lines
Load and unload trucks with incoming and outgoing materials
packing and building skids
placing lables on to packed boxes
Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory and orders
Safely handle heavy lifting up to 40 lbs
Assist with order picking and warehouse distribution tasks
Qualifications:
valid Forklift licence
Min 1 year experience as a Forklift Operator
Proficiency in operating forklifts, walkie rider and other warehouse equipment
Familiarity with order picking processes and warehouse management systems
Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory tracking
Ability to read and communicate in English
Valuable eye hand coordianation
experience using computers
Capability to lift heavy objects up to 40 lbs and work in a rapid-paced environment
