Affordable Kitchens is looking for a skilled cabinetmaker or millwork professional to join our factory team.

At least half of the job involves setting up and operating woodworking machinery. The rest could include building cabinets or other millwork, sanding doors, applying explicit coats and generally helping us turn sheets of wood into things people want in their homes.

We’re looking for someone with:
Cabinetmaking, millwork or woodworking experience
Strong machine-operation and mechanical skills
Excellent problem-solving abilities
Good attention to detail
Transparent spoken English for instructions, teamwork and safety
A dependable attitude and willingness to tackle different jobs

Problem-solving is important. When something isn’t working, we’re looking for someone whose first response is “Let me figure this out,” rather than “Well…that’s weird.”

If you can operate machinery, build things accurately and understand that “close enough” is rarely close enough in cabinetmaking, we’d like to hear from you.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
