Our optometry clinic in the heart of downtown Ottawa is growing, and we’re looking for a friendly, detail‑oriented Optometric Assistant to join our team. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional patient care, a welcoming environment, and a smooth, efficient clinic experience.

What You’ll Do
Greet patients and provide outstanding front‑desk service
Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
Perform pre‑testing using modern diagnostic equipment (autorefraction, retinal imaging, visual fields, etc.)
Assist the optometrist during examinations as needed
Process payments, insurance claims, and maintain accurate patient records
Support general clinic operations to keep the day running smoothly

What We’re Looking For
Experience in an optometry or healthcare setting is an asset,



but we’re willing to train the right person
Strong communication and customer‑service skills
Comfort with technology and learning new equipment
Ability to multitask in a quick‑paced setting
A positive attitude and genuine interest in patient care
