Trafalgar Dental Oakville is looking to hire a Level II Dental Assistant to join our team!

Your role will be vitally key to keeping our practice running smoothly & helping us provide our valued patients with the highest level of dental care.

Schedule:
Tuesday - 12pm to 8pm
Wednesday - 12pm to 8pm
Thursday - 10am to 8pm
Friday - 8am to 2pm
Saturday - 9am to 6pm
*Our office is closed all holiday long-weekends

Job Duties:
Assist the dentists during a variety of treatment procedures, including restorative, surgical, and endodontic procedures
Prepare and maintain operatories and reprocess dental instruments
Take dental impressions including digital models via iTero scanner, dental radiographs (X-rays) in compliance with HARP standards, and perform intraoral duties allowed under Level II certification
Provide patients with post-operative instructions




Schedule patient appointments and assist with administrative tasks when needed
Follow infection prevention and control protocols in compliance with current IPAC guidelines
Collaborate effectively with dentists, hygienists, and administrative team members to provide optimal patient care

Requirements:
HARP certified, CDA II
Experience using ClearDent practice management software is considered an asset
Strong knowledge of RCDSO IPAC protocols
