Job Summary

Baines Construction is looking for a dependable Carpenter Apprentice to join our team. We work on custom homes, additions, and renovations throughout the Sunshine Coast.

This is a positive opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in quality craftsmanship and wants to develop their carpentry skills while working alongside experienced tradespeople.

Responsibilities

- Assist with framing, forming, siding, finishing and general labor
- Measure, cut and assemble building materials
- Operate hand and power tools
- Follow drawings, instructions and established building practices.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organized worksite
- Work cooperatively with coworkers, subcontractors and clients

Qualifications

- No prior professional experience required; however, construction experience or familiarity with carpentry tools is a plus
- Registered apprentice or interest in pursuing an apprenticeship
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools




- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work effectively in physically demanding conditions
- Dependable, hardworking and willing to learn
- Enthusiasm for working outdoors in various weather conditions with a proactive attitude toward safety and teamwork
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
