Food Production Associate – Richmond Hill, ON

Fuze HR is currently recruiting Food Production Associates for a leading food manufacturing facility located in Richmond Hill. This is a great opportunity for candidates with experience in food production, manufacturing, or fast-paced production environments who are looking for a long-term chance with potential to transition into a permanent role.

Position: Food Production Associate

Location: Richmond Hill, ON

Job Type: Temporary to Permanent

Openings Available: 6 positions

Language Requirement: English

Work Environment: Cold production setting (approximately 1–4°C)

Available Shifts & Pay

Night Shift:
11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
$18.20/hour

Responsibilities:
Prepare and process food products in a manufacturing environment
Cut and prepare vegetables
Assist with rice preparation and cooking processes
Work efficiently on a production line
Lift and move bags of food products (including rice and vegetables) onto the production line
Follow food safety, quality, and production standards
Maintain a clean and secure work environment
Support daily production goals while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail

Requirements:




Previous experience working in a food manufacturing or production facility is strongly preferred
Comfortable working in a cold environment (1–4°C)
Ability to perform medium to heavy physical work, including lifting food bags
Strong attendance and reliability are essential
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
Must be comfortable standing for extended periods

Physical Requirements:
Medium to heavy lifting required
Regular handling of food products and production materials

Additional Requirements:
CSA-approved safety shoes required
No forklift certification required

Selected candidates will be invited to complete a short interview and site tour with the hiring manager. Candidates should be prepared to briefly introduce their experience and background during the visit.
