DescriptionAs an experienced Equipment Superintendent your primary focus will be to provide in-field hands on day-to-day support to operations, ensuring the maximum availability and uptime of the vehicles and equipment. Your technical expertise and proficiency in vehicle and equipment systems will be an asset to our operations team. You’ll ensure safety and reliability of our fleet of vehicles and equipment is managed effectively. Work with local suppliers to support operational needs with regards fleet up timeOversee maintenance technicians in servicing and repairing of equipmentUnderstands and is part of the process for payment of invoices through proper coding and issuing of purchase ordersProactively analyze equipment performance and trendsEffectively and efficiently plan ahead based on upcoming work and lessons learnedQualifications:Minimum 2+ years’ experience with fleet maintenance of vehicles and construction equipmentFamiliar with maintenance and work order practices.Experience using MS Office, and an aptitude for learning various computer systems.Familiarity of JD Edwards or equivalent, an assetStrong problem solving skillsAbility to work independently, manage multiple tasks and set prioritiesCapable of understanding and following written proceduresWork Conditions:This is a site based positionAdditional InformationThe Ledcor Group of Companies is one of North America’s most diversified construction companies.
