Enhance the lives of families in crisis as a Shelter Case Manager at Positive Shepherd. This role involves direct support and case management within our Family Centre.

Good Shepherd is seeking a dedicated individual to assist service users with housing solutions and crisis prevention. The Shelter Case Manager will implement supportive counselling, maintain safety protocols, and ensure a clean, secure setting for families. You will address various challenges while respecting confidentiality and promoting dignity.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver consistent, trauma-informed support to service users
• Conduct regular facility and safety checks in the shelter
• Assist families with housing appointments and resources




• Clean and maintain shared facilities and units
• Observe all health and safety regulations per Good Shepherd policies

Requirements:
• Post-secondary degree in Social Services or a similar field
• At least one year of relevant community service experience
• Proven experience with issues affecting families such as poverty
• Excellent communication and time management abilities
• Fluency in a second language is an asset
