This opportunity is ideal for an experienced billing professional who can build strong relationships, demonstrate attention to detail, and effectively manage a high-volume workload while leading a team.ResponsibilitiesLead, coach, and support Billing team members, including oversight of national eBilling operationsOversee end-to-end billing processes, including draft preparation, revisions, finalization, and distribution of invoicesEnsure accurate and timely submission of e-bills through client portals (e.G., Bottomline, TyMetrix, CounselLink, CounselGo)Track, analyze,
and reduce invoice rejections by identifying root causes and implementing corrective actionsEnsure compliance with client billing guidelines, firm policies, and performance targets set by leadershipAct as an escalation point for complex billing issues, resolving discrepancies and supporting timely resolutionRespond promptly to client and internal billing inquiries, maintaining a high standard of serviceMaintain billing records, file lists, and track items such as missing budgets and file closuresMonitor and follow up on outstanding invoices in collaboration with CollectionsSupport the team during peak periods and coordinate with Accounting to resolve billing issuesPrepare client reports and support ad hoc requests as requiredIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance billing efficiency, accuracy, and consistencyWhat will help you succeed in this role?5+ years of experience in eBilling within a law firm or professional services environment, including at least 2 years of leadership experienceStrong knowledge of eBilling systems and platforms (e.G., Legal Tracker, Passport, TyMetrix, CounselLink)Experience working with LEDES files and manual submissionsAdvanced knowledge of billing systems such as 3E, eBilling Hub, Elite Enterprise, or similar platformsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills,
with the ability to build strong working relationshipsHigh attention to detail with strong organizational and analytical skillsProven problem-solving and critical thinking capabilitiesAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environmentStrong client service orientation with a collaborative, team-focused approachProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly ExcelWhat we offerThe salary range for this position is $70,000 – $85,000 per annum, dependent on experience.Our firm benefits include Extended Health benefit, Dental coverage, LTD, DI, casual dress code, wellbeing allowance, early finish ahead of statutory holidays and more.Diversity & InclusivityNurturing talent is very important to us.
