Role Description The CRE – Analyst is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada. This position supports the evaluation, acquisition, and management of commercial real estate assets through financial modeling, market research, and portfolio analysis. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and maintaining cash flow models, analyzing lease terms and tenant performance, and preparing investment memoranda and presentation materials.

The analyst will review market and submarket data, track comparable transactions, and monitor key performance indicators across the portfolio. The role also involves coordinating with property management, leasing, and accounting teams,



supporting due diligence for new investments, and contributing to strategic asset management initiatives.

Qualifications

- Strong financial analysis skills, including proficiency in Excel-based modeling, cash flow projections, and valuation techniques (e.g., DCF, IRR, NPV).
- Solid understanding of commercial real estate fundamentals, including leasing structures, tenant covenants, operating expenses, and market metrics.
- Experience conducting market and property-level research, analyzing comparable rents and sales, and interpreting industry reports and economic data.
- Ability to prepare clear investment summaries, presentations, and reports, with strong written and verbal communication skills tailored to internal stakeholders.
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a small-team workplace.
- Proficiency with standard business software (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); exposure to real estate or lease management systems is an asset.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, real estate, economics, business, or a related field; relevant coursework or certifications in real estate or investment analysis are beneficial.
- Demonstrated initiative, professional integrity, and a collaborative working style suited to a family office and long-term ownership model.
