Contribute to research support as a Research Librarian specializing in Arts and Special Collections at the University of Ottawa. This temporary role emphasizes service and collaboration in a vibrant academic setting. The University of Ottawa Library is recruiting for a temporary Research Librarian who will focus on arts collections, starting January 4th, 2027.

In a team-based setting, you will facilitate consultations, develop educational resources and assess user needs. Your adaptability and expertise will help promote the library’s mission and strengthen its services. Key Responsibilities:
Support research priorities through user consultations
Design and deliver educational programs across the library
Foster relationships with faculty and students
Address collection gaps and needs effectively
Engage in service assessment and improvements Requirements:
Master’s degree in Library and Information Sciences
At least two years of relevant experience
Bilingual communication in French and English
Specialized knowledge in arts and history
Proven team-oriented and project management abilities Support the Library's mission by enhancing user engagement and resource accessibility at the University of Ottawa.
