Contribute to patient well-being as a Rehabilitation Assistant with Island Health, focusing on therapeutic improvements through structured activities. This casual position involves travel between various sites as needed. You will work under the direction of a Staff Therapist and report to the Manager.

Key responsibilities include conducting therapeutic and recreational programs for residents, transporting them to treatment areas, and guiding volunteers during activities. Maintaining high standards of safety and quality is essential. Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate individual and group therapeutic activities
Transport patients to and from treatment sessions
Oversee volunteers during recreational programs
Report on patient progress to the Therapist
Organize therapies and recreational activities effectively Requirements:
Completion of a recognized Rehabilitation Assistant Program
Proficient verbal and written communication skills
