Willowdale School of Music is looking for an Early Childhood Music Teacher to join our teaching team in late Fall 2026. Classes will run in-person out of our North York location at 5927 Yonge St (Yonge & Cummer).

We are looking to fill the following positions (including but not limited to):

- Saturday mornings

Contract:

- Employee status with three months probationary period




- Pay range is $34 - $37/hour + $2 per each additional student after the first student (with 4% holiday pay & EI/CPP/tax remittances) depending on experience
- One year contract to cover a maternity leave

The successful applicant must have:

- At least 2 years experience working with students ages 0 and up
- At least 2 years experience teaching ECM classes (ages 0-4) with ECM certification (Dalcroze, Orff, Kodaly, Suzuki, Kindermusik, Musikgarten, Music for Young Children, etc)
- Have a Bachelors of Music or equivalent degree in their main instrument
- Robust understanding of early childhood education principles and developmental milestones

Pay: $34.00-$37.00 per hour
