Bring your nursing skills to Extendicare as a Registered Nurse committed to enhancing resident care. You will oversee health management and support a cooperative care team in a long-term facility. This part time Registered Nurse position at Extendicare requires a valid nursing license and relevant long-term care experience. You will assess resident health, implement care plans, and lead nursing staff while ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

Your role also includes training current team members and overseeing care during the director's absence. Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive care to residents based on established protocols
Track and report changes in residents’ health




Create and adjust individualized care plans as needed
Mentor and evaluate nursing staff performance
Prepare the facility for quality assessments including RAI MDS Requirements:
Active certificate from the College of Nurses of Ontario
Preferably 2+ years of related experience
Well-versed in MOH Regulations and LTC Act
Experience with Point Click Care and RAI/MDS
