The permanent role is centered on verifying materials, conducting NDT checks, and performing detailed inspections, particularly in custom steel castings and fabricated components. Your expertise will support projects in the mining and industrial sectors. Key Responsibilities:
Perform Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) and Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT)
Review and verify welding and fabrication documentation
Conduct thorough inspections of received materials
Prepare and maintain NDT and QC reports
Identify and address non-conformances proactively Requirements:
CGSB MT Level 2 certification required
CGSB PT Level 2 certification essential
CWB Welding Inspector Level 1 or higher required
Solid skills in reading engineering drawings
