Are you an experienced and knowledgeable English tutor passionate about making a difference in students' lives?

Join our dynamic team of professionals at Inspiration Learning Center - York Mills (located at York Mills & Don Mills, North York).

You will be teaching K-12 English reading and writing in private or small group settings at our tutoring center in York Mills. You will have access to a supportive environment, and we provide teaching materials, allowing you the flexibility to tailor lessons to each student's unique skill set.

Responsibilities:

- Teach English in one-on-one and small-group settings
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to students’ individual needs, levels, and learning goals
- Provide effective instruction in reading comprehension, vocabulary, grammar, and writing
- Assign appropriate homework, monitor student progress,



and adjust instruction as needed
- Provide regular feedback and communicate with parents and center staff as needed

Qualifications:

- University degree or currently pursuing a degree in English, History, Education, or related fields
- Robust English language skills, with the ability to teach reading comprehension, vocabulary, grammar, and writing effectively.
- Previous teaching or tutoring experience preferred
- Familiarity with the Ontario curriculum is an asset
- Ability to plan and adapt lessons based on students’ individual needs, learning goals, and progress
- Patient, engaging, responsible, and able to motivate students

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour
