Be a pivotal part of Stantec's mission as a Senior Database Geologist. This position offers a hybrid work model and focuses on optimizing geological datasets for resource production.

As a member of our Energy and Resources Canada West team, utilize your 8 to 10 years of expertise in managing complex geological data and relevant software tools. Your work will contribute significantly to our sustainable mining initiatives and support resource-reserve estimations and mine planning projects. You will also assist in business development efforts in collaboration with existing and current clients.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and manage geological databases with Microsoft Access/SQL
• Conduct data validation and implement QA/QC protocols
• Analyze geological information using GIS applications




• Model geological data using industry-leading software formats
• Prepare independent reports as a Qualified Person after gaining qualifications

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Geology; M.Sc. is an asset
• 8 to 10 years managing extensive databases
• Proficient in relevant software for database management
• Solid technical writing abilities
• Registered skilled geologist in good standing
