Become a Part time Mentor with Simaril and help individuals in the Interlake-Selkirk region live more independently. This role includes providing personalized support and community connection. As Simaril expands, we are inviting applications for future Outreach Support Mentor positions. You will work closely with individuals in the Supported Independent Living program, providing daily support in enhancing their living skills and connecting with necessary resources.

Your role will be instrumental in empowering clients to achieve their personal and community goals. Key Responsibilities:
Support individuals in developing daily living abilities
Assist clients in navigating community resources
Aid with transportation and appointments
Provide companionship and emotional support
Keep accurate records of client interactions Requirements:
High School Diploma required
2 years of experience in similar roles preferred
Robust written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work both independently and in teams
Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence required Foster independence and a sense of belonging for individuals in the Interlake-Selkirk region with Simaril.
