NISHNAWBE EDUCATION COUNCIL seeks a full-time Registered Nurse for Pelican Falls First Nations High School in Sioux Lookout, Ontario starting August 2026. Work Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing health care services to students.

Responsibilities include assessing medical needs, administering first aid, and developing treatment plans. Ensuring collaboration with nursing staff and communicating effectively with students and parents will enhance student health outcomes. Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct medical health services to students
Assess health needs and develop individualized care
Refer students to health specialists as needed
Maintain clinic and student records securely
Collaborate with team for at-risk student support Requirements:
Mandatory Registered Nurse or Bachelor of Science in Nursing
Good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
Solid leadership and motivation skills
Valid Class “G” Driver’s License
