In this full time position, you will join a dedicated team in the Diagnostic Treatment Centre, focusing on diverse surgical specialties including thoracic and neurosurgery. Your experience will be instrumental in managing patient care during high-acuity procedures while supporting staff development and maintaining safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop care plans
• Prepare and lead surgical teams for both elective and emergency cases
• Foster an environment of mentorship and skill acquisition




• Implement and contribute to quality improvement projects
• Participate in flexible on-call shifts and rotation schedules

Requirements:
• Accredited nursing education program completion
• Active registration or eligibility with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta
• Current BCLS-HCP certification
• Minimum 5 years of general operating room experience
• Team leadership or charge nurse experience
