About the role Arthur Wealth Management is a growing boutique advisory practice serving incorporated professionals and business owners across the National Capital Region. We are hiring our first Practice Development Associate, a hybrid role that combines outbound business development, client-service coordination, and internal process improvement.
You will help grow the practice, keep our existing clients well-served, and drive the internal efficiency work that lets a lean team punch above its weight. It is a genuine build role with a clear path toward Practice Manager or a licensed advisor track.
What you’ll own Business development — outbound outreach to incorporated business owners, LinkedIn-driven growth of our Profit to Prosperity newsletter, and booking qualified discovery meetings for the principal advisor
Client service — coordinating existing client review meetings, managing the advisor’s calendar, meeting prep, and CRM discipline
Practice operations — auditing our tech stack, building documented processes, and driving efficiency improvements across the firm
Community presence — representing our firm at Association events, Ottawa Board of Trade functions, and chamber gatherings
How the role is rewarded Compensation is a competitive base salary plus meaningful performance-based variable pay.



The variable side rewards booked-and-held prospect meetings, closed business, and an annual bonus tied to firm growth, process delivery, and newsletter channel growth. Full details are shared during the interview process.
What you’ll need 12+ months of documented outbound sales or business development experience
Qualified written and verbal communication
Comfort with a compliance-conscious script — you will redirect all product and advice questions to the advisor
Willingness to attend early-morning and evening community events (3–5 per month)
Reliable transportation to Ottawa-area event venues
Legally able to work in Canada without sponsorship
Nice to have Prior experience selling to small business owners (payroll, HRIS, business banking, SMB software)
Interest in financial services as a long‑term career direction
Designations such as CFP, CIM, CLU
