Adecco is currently recruiting for a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) on behalf of a well-established educational institution in Calgary.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly analytical finance professional to work closely with the Vice President, Growth & Initiatives and CFO , providing financial reporting and strategic financial analysis support.

Short term project:
3-Month Contract (Immediate Start)

Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and analyze financial reports for executive leadership.
Support the CFO with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Develop insights and recommendations based on financial performance.
Conduct variance analysis and reporting.
Assist with strategic financial initiatives and special projects.
Build and maintain financial models to support business planning and decision-making.
Prepare executive-level dashboards, presentations, and reporting packages for senior leadership.
Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
Provide scenario analysis and financial impact assessments for strategic initiatives.
Support annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather financial data and improve reporting accuracy.




Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance financial reporting and operational efficiency.
Perform ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as requested by the CFO and executive team.
Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of financial data used for reporting and decision-making.

Qualifications:
Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation required with a minimum 5 years of financial Analyst experience
Direct financial analysis experience at progressively more senior levels
Solid financial reporting and analytical experience
Proactive approach to problem solving – resourceful and innovative with an ability to see the bigger picture
Excellent organizational and time management skills with a keen attention to detail
High level of professionalism, confidentiality and discretion
Leadership role in Finance including interfaces with all levels of stakeholders and supervisory experience
Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
Ability to communicate complex financial information to senior leaders
Experience working with executive stakeholders and leadership teams
