The candidate will be responsible for applying theoretical knowledge to the assessment, interpretation, planning, and implementation of health care services for clients with physical or mental health conditions.
The candidate will be responsible for conducting onsite visits with injured workers, at worksites, and with external service providers of clinical programs to review services being provided for injured workers.
The candidate will be responsible for providing clinical support during team meetings.
The candidate will be responsible for overseeing complex physical or mental health claims through the implementation and monitoring of return to work plans.
The candidate will be responsible for continuously collaborating with all external stakeholders to support stay-at-work programs, early intervention, and return to work planning.
The candidate will be responsible for delivering education sessions as needed to internal and external audiences, including employers.
Job Requirements The candidate must hold a master’s degree in Occupational Therapy and maintain current registration in good standing with the College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia.




The candidate must have a minimum of six years of clinical OT experience in practical areas such as physical health, neurology, mental health, brain injury, amputation, or spinal cord injury.
The candidate will be required to travel throughout the province to support services provided to injured workers.
The candidate must hold a valid B.C. driver’s license.
The candidate must prioritize, plan, and organize a challenging and variable workload independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.
The candidate will build and maintain trusting and cooperative working relationships with individuals and organizations in an setting that can be adversarial.
The candidate must educate, consult, and motivate others while serving as a resource to co-workers.
The candidate must develop and present education sessions and programs.
The candidate must confirm that they are legally entitled to work in Canada.
Security and safety The candidate must successfully meet the legal requirements under the Criminal Records Review Act to work with children and/or vulnerable adults.
Work conditions The candidate will be required to travel throughout the region and stay overnight.
