Your tasks will include carrying out safety inspections, managing hydraulic repairs, and performing welding tasks. Leadership of apprentices or junior staff may be part of your day-to-day responsibilities. Key Responsibilities:
Provide maintenance and repair services for Municipal vehicles
Perform safety inspections and preventive maintenance
Inspect and repair hydraulic systems on machinery
Conduct welding tasks relevant to shop mechanics
Keep accurate maintenance records and reports Requirements:
Grade 12 education with relevant technical coursework
Valid BC Class 3 Driver's License with Air Brake endorsement
Red Seal Certification in Automotive or Heavy Duty Repair
