Join WNHAC as a Registered Midwife and serve the Indigenous community in Kenora, Ontario. This full time position emphasizes prenatal and postpartum care using a holistic model that blends traditional and contemporary practices. As a midwife, you will play a vital role in offering culturally protected care to women and families.

This position includes outreach services, supporting both individual and community health goals. Your efforts will significantly impact the development of Indigenous midwifery services as WNHAC continues to grow in its service offerings. Key Responsibilities:
Provide tailored prenatal and postpartum care to families
Coordinate and monitor comprehensive health care plans




Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure optimal outcomes
Assist communities in health promotion and disease prevention
Maintain accurate and detailed medical documentation Requirements:
Active licensure with the College of Ontario Midwives
Graduate of a recognized midwifery education program
Certification in CPR, NRP, and emergency procedures
Knowledge of Anishinaabe culture is a plus
Willingness to continue career development Contribute to enhancing midwifery services and promoting health within Indigenous families in Kenora at WNHAC.
