Activate is a tech company known for creating Canada's first full-scale interactive gaming facility. We are experiencing significant expansion and are looking to expand our team with the addition of a Picker. A successful applicant will be responsible for accurately and efficiently picking components and materials based on bills of materials (BOMs), production schedules , quality standards and sales orders.

The successful applicant will demonstrate strong communication, team work and time management skills, along with a focus on maintaining a safe and organized work environment. This is a full-time, permanent position. This is an internal opportunity open only to current Activate employees.

The Duties and Responsibilities

Pick and pack components for part orders and game room packages

Coordinate daily picking operations to meet production targets

Prioritize and complete urgent and priority picking requests while maintaining accuracy

Ensuring adherence to quality control standards and proper handling of materials

Use Epicor to access drawings and BOMs for proper picking instructions

Collaborating with production planning and inventory teams to resolve discrepancies

Maintaining a clean, organized, and protected work environment.

Other tasks and duties as assigned

Fabrication & Assembly

Use various hand and power tools to complete minor game component assemblies based on part drawings and assembly guides

Assist with assembly and repair tasks as required to support production needs

The Qualifications

Electronics Technologist diploma or equivalent experience preferred





High School Diploma relevant experience in mechanical and/or electronic assembly

Competency in applicable Tier 1 assemblies at Activate Games

Experience in picking function at Activate Games is an asset

Comfortable in using Epicor

Able to read and understand pick sheets, BOMs, and drawings

Robust attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
