They’re also appointed to participate in monitoring activities and assist in maintaining backcountry accommodations working at this post.

They’re appointed to act as a Bear Guard working at this post.

Job requirement

Candidates must have a secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training, and experience related to the position to be eligible for this post.





They must attain experience in travelling on land and sea to be eligible for this post.

Applicants must attain experience in camping and hiking for extended periods to be eligible for this post.They must attain dedicated general knowledge of mechanical problem-solving to be eligible for this post.

Applicants must attain the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and terrain.

They must attain the ability to follow procedures and protocols and to report on issues.

Applicants must attain the ability to engage and assist Park visitors when needed to be eligible for this post.

Work setting

Candidates must have to obtain and maintain Reliability Status security clearance.

They must have possession of a valid class 5 driver’s license or equivalent .Applicants must attain the willingness to work and/or travel in wide-ranging terrain, weather conditions, isolated locations and by various means of transportation to be eligible for this post.

Candidates are also appointed to ensure the willingness and ability to perform physical labour and lift to 50 lbs to be eligible for this post.
