We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our RDCRS team as a student support specialist on a full time basis. Primary responsibility will be to assist with elementary grade medical needs support, student learning support, personal care, complex medical needs, and g-tube feeding.
Responsibilities could include:
Monitor health status, promptly reporting any concerning changes.
Administer medications and treatments as directed.
Tracheostomy, airway monitoring/suctioning, g-tube feeding
Collaborate with all partners
Ensure a protected and supportive workplace for the student,
addressing any environmental hazards or factors that may impede their well-being
Maintain accurate and updated documentation of care provided
Provide educational support as required
Qualifications:
Valid and active LPN license for Alberta
