Illumination Lighting is seeking an experienced, hands-on General Manager to work closely with the CEO in overseeing the company’s daily operations, project execution, financial performance, and coordination between key departments.

The successful candidate will be a strong leader and problem-solver who can maintain visibility across the organization, ensure accountability, and keep projects and business objectives moving forward without unnecessary delays.

Main Responsibilities

- Work directly with the CEO on overall company operations, priorities, and day-to-day activities.
- Oversee and support Project Managers, regularly reviewing project status, schedules, client requirements, and potential issues to ensure projects progress smoothly and without avoidable hiccups.
- Maintain regular follow-up with department managers and ensure commitments, deadlines, and action items are completed.
- Review weekly financial performance with the Controller, including budgets, expenses, cash-flow considerations, and overall financial objectives.
- Ensure established budgets and profitability objectives are monitored and achieved.
- Maintain close communication with the VP of Sales & Marketing and the Quotation Department to review sales activity, outstanding quotations, new project opportunities, and follow-up requirements.
- Ensure new project leads and active opportunities are being properly pursued and followed through.
- Help coordinate communication between Sales, Quotations, Project Management, Operations, Accounting, and senior management.
- Identify potential operational or project-related problems early and take appropriate action before they affect clients, schedules,



or profitability.
- Provide the CEO with regular updates on key operational, financial, sales, and project matters.
- Assist in improving internal procedures, accountability, efficiency, and overall company performance.

Must have qualifications

- Minimum 7–10 years of senior management or operational leadership experience, preferably within lighting, hospitality furnishings, manufacturing, construction-related products, or a similar project-driven industry.
- Strong understanding of project management, operations, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Proven ability to manage multiple departments and priorities simultaneously.
- Solid commercial awareness with an understanding of sales, quotations, margins, budgets, and project profitability.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Technically minded and comfortable reviewing project details, drawings, specifications, quotations, and operational challenges.
- A hands-on management style with the ability to follow through and hold team members accountable.
- Ability to work closely with ownership and senior executives in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.

Compensation Plan

We offer an attractive and competitive compensation package, commensurate with the candidate’s experience, leadership capabilities, and industry knowledge.

Pay: $120,000.00-$180,000.00 per year
