Description The Gone Goko Housing Society Labourer primary responsibility is to perform essential physical tasks to support the building, renovation, and maintenance of homes and residential properties.

Key Responsibilities

- Site Preparation: Transparent debris, trash, and hazardous materials from building zones.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize building supplies like lumber and drywall.
- Trades Assistance: Support carpenters, plumbers, and electricians, hauling supplies and site supports
- Temporary Structures: Erect and dismantle scaffolding, ramps, and safety barricades.
- Property Maintenance: Perform basic repairs like changing air filters, light landscaping, and minor repairs

Key Skills & Qualifications

- Physical Stamina: Capability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather.
- Tool Proficiency: Competency using hand and power tools like drills, shop vacs, hand tools




- Safety Awareness: Strict adherence to personal protective equipment (PPE) guidelines.

Qualifications

- Minimum one (1) years of residential maintenance experience.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
- Ability to work on-call and respond to emergencies, if needed.
- Experience working with a First Nation organization considered an asset.
- Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check required.
