Join the dynamic Pre-Primary Program as an Early Childhood Educator at the Strait Regional Centre for Education in Nova Scotia. This term role focuses on creating inclusive learning experiences for children. We are looking for a passionate Early Childhood Educator to work within the Pre-Primary Program team, supporting the Lead ECE.

You will implement the Nova Scotia Early Learning Curriculum Framework, ensuring an engaging setting for young children. Collaborate with families, observe children’s developmental progress, and create inclusive learning opportunities that respect diverse backgrounds and needs. Key Responsibilities:
Develop a supportive and engaging learning environment
Collaborate with Lead ECE to clarify roles




Regularly observe and assess children’s development
Communicate openly with families about the program
Support children in four key developmental areas Requirements:
Diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education
Experience with play-based and child-centered practices
Ability to work with diverse communities
Computer skills for documentation and reporting
Explicit Criminal Record Check prior to employment Help shape the educational journey of young learners in a team-oriented and nurturing setting.
