Our client is seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to contribute to their product development efforts in Kimberley . This role focuses on the entire product lifecycle, from initial concept generation through to design, prototyping, testing, and eventual production. You will work on innovative products, utilizing your engineering skills to create robust, user-friendly, and market-competitive solutions. The ideal candidate is a creative problem-solver with a keen eye for detail and a passion for bringing new ideas to life.
Key Responsibilities Design and develop new mechanical products and systems using 3D CAD software.
Create detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and tolerance analyses.
Conduct performance testing, validation, and reliability studies on prototypes and production units.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including industrial designers, electrical engineers, and marketing.
Source components and work with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective product realization.




Troubleshoot design issues and implement design improvements throughout the product development cycle.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in product development or mechanical design.
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor) is essential.
Experience with prototyping methods and product testing procedures.
Familiarity with materials science and manufacturing processes such as injection molding and machining.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
