Reviews reports from adjusters, lawyers and experts with the goal of determining coverage and assessing damages. Expeditious and economical settlements within prescribed authority limits achieved through arranging of and attendance at mediations/settlement meetings. Attends client and broker meetings along with other activities as required. Recognized as a technical expert and provides support and assistance with client management activities, as required. Duties and Responsibilities Analyze, investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle the loss to determine coverage and claim disposition. Establish appropriate reserves for both indemnity and expense, and review on a regular basis to ensure adequacy. Make recommendations for reserves at appropriate level for claims outside of authority level. Identify and communicate specific claim trends and
