I’m currently partnering with a client in the industrial distribution sector that is looking to add an organized, customer-focused Inside Sales Representative to their Cambridge team.
This is a great chance for someone with a background in distribution who enjoys working with customers, managing multiple priorities and keeping things moving in a fast-paced environment.
What you’ll be doing Handle a high volume of inbound customer calls and emails
Manage and process RFQs from start to finish
Identify products and solutions based on customer requirements
Prepare and issue purchase orders
Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure orders are processed accurately
Manage multiple requests and priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail
Build strong relationships with customers and provide responsive service
What they’re looking for 2–3+ years of experience within distribution — this is a key requirement




Understanding how RFQs, products, POs and order processing work
Highly organized and comfortable managing a high volume of activity
Personable, professional and confident communicating with customers
Strong multitasking and time-management skills
A technical background is an asset; mechanical engineering or related experience would be beneficial
Comfortable working 5 days a week in the Cambridge office
$50K–$55K base salary + $2K–$5K quarterly bonus
