Your role will focus on compassionate care and daily support for guests. This full time, permanent position at Sumas ABI involves providing personalized assistance to individuals with complex health concerns. You'll use your expertise in caregiving to enhance their daily activities and maintain a protected workplace, ensuring their dignity at all times. Key Responsibilities:
Provide personal care including feeding and mobility assistance
Track and document guests’ care plans and observations
Communicate directly with relief staff during emergencies
Manage documentation for casual staff attendance and reports
Prepare meals and administer medications to clients accordingly Requirements:
One year of experience in a residential care setting preferred
Must hold a Care Aide Certificate and be registered in BC
Certification in Occupational First Aid Level 1 required
Training in Crisis Intervention and Naloxone needed
