Join Halton Region’s Water & Wastewater Division as a Co-op Student and take your first step into environmental careers. This role allows you to contribute to community water management experiences. In this energetic position, you will assist in collecting samples and analyzing data while rotating among various facilities in Oakville, Burlington, and Georgetown.

This 12-month co-op will help you acquire vital industry skills through practical engagement with experienced specialists in the field. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct water and wastewater sample collections
Analyze data and prepare analytical reports
Document and update operational standard procedures
Validate SCADA system data through field observations
Attend and note minutes from operational meetings Requirements:
Enrollment in Environmental or Chemical Engineering co-op program
Effective communication skills necessary
Self-directed with a proactive approach
Competent in Microsoft Office applications
Valid G driver's license is needed Experience valuable co-op training in water treatment with Halton Region and make an impact locally.
