Empower children and youth as a Supported Independent Living Worker in Edmonton. This part time, on-site chance allows you to provide crucial support through meal planning, life skills coaching, and positive client programs.
You’ll work 6 hours a week, assisting in creating a secure and nurturing environment for youth. Your role includes not just service delivery but also engaging with your teammates to develop effective living programs. Communication with your supervisor helps address any challenges promptly.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver quality services to meet individual client needs
• Manage meal planning and grocery shopping tasks
• Teach essential life skills and support recreational activities




• Ensure accurate documentation is maintained for all clients
• Lead support staff in the absence of the Coordinator
Requirements:
• Caring and reliable persona with a focus on clients
• Required valid First Aid-CPR Level C Certificate
• Police information check with vulnerable sector needed
• Experience in disability services is a must
• Adherence to support policies and procedures expected
