Position Summary At On Side, our Contents Technicians play a vital role in helping clients recover during one of the most challenging stages of an insurance claim.
From carefully packing, handling, cleaning, and restoring valued belongings to returning items to our clients’ properties, our Contents Technicians also help bring comfort, normalcy, and peace of mind back to our clients.
As some of the final team members on site, their attention to detail puts the finishing touches on every project and helps clients take the final step toward recovery.

Compensation Salary Range: $21-$25/hour
On-call premium paid for rotating coverage
Overtime opportunities (where applicable)

What You’ll Do Pack, catalog, and clean contents from disaster-affected areas
Perform pre/post-construction and structural cleaning
Clean fabrics, textiles, and various surfaces
Use Encircle Restoration Software for inventory
Cross training in demolition, water emergencies and rebuild
What You Bring Cleaning experience is an asset, particularly in residential, commercial, or restoration environments




Positive attitude and robust work ethic
Good organizational and communication skills
Strong customer service skills with a professional, empathetic, and hardworking approach
Physically fit, capable of heavy lifting and safety-conscious
Tech-savvy (comfortable using apps/software)
Reliable, dependable, and able to work extended hours when required
Valid driver’s license and clean abstract
Clear criminal record
English proficiency, written and spoken

Of Note: Disasters can strike at any time so a rotating schedule of 24/7 after hours on-call work is a requirement. Meaning you’ll work regular weekday hours and participate in a rotating after-hours on-call schedule.
