Learn More Expanded Recycling Opportunities Start Oct. 1 Learn More A maintenance technician is responsible for the upkeep, repair, and preventive maintenance of buildings, equipment, and systems, ensuring safe and efficient operations. Key Responsibilities

Maintenance technicians perform a wide range of tasks to keep facilities operational, including: Inspecting buildings, equipment, and systems to identify issues and potential hazards (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and mechanical systems) Performing routine repairs and preventive maintenance to avoid equipment breakdowns Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, or plumbing problems and implementing solutions Conducting minor carpentry, welding, metal or plastic fabrication, and other general maintenance tasks. Oversee inspection, servicing, and repair activities of all fleet vehicles Perform a range of tasks related to maintaining cleanliness in public areas Maintaining records of maintenance work, inventory,



and supplies Coordinating with vendors or specialists for tasks beyond their expertise, such as major electrical or HVAC work Ensuring compliance with safety and health regulations Required Qualifications

Required Skills

Strong technical knowledge across multiple trades (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, mechanical systems) Hands-on experience with tools, machinery, and building systems Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities Effective communication and organizational skills Physical capability to perform demanding tasks, including lifting, climbing, and working in varied environments Remuneration and Benefits

$27.83 - 34.54 hr Drivers Abstract Required Successful applicants will be required to provide a Drivers Abstract prior to their first day of work. Criminal Record Check Required Successful applicants will be required to agree to a Criminal Record Check prior to their first day of work. Roseridge is an equal prospect employer.
