Qualifications

High school completion required 1 Year Employment Experience Knowledge of the Housing First model and harm reduction practices Familiarity with mental health, addiction services, and community resources Successful Vulnerable Sector Check and/or Criminal Record Check required Skills

Basic understanding of street culture Reliable, responsive, and supportive team member Demonstrates excellent communication and active listening skills Demonstrates concise and ethical documenting skills Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain client confidentiality Demonstrates understanding of emergency response protocol Ability to remain alert and perform tasks in a demanding environment Ability to remain calm and responsive during crisis incident response Contributes to a culturally safe environment Working Condition and Physical Requirements

12-hour day and night shifts in a fast-paced supportive housing/shelter environment Attends to medical emergencies including overdoses, injuries,



and mental health crises Regularly navigates stairs and uses industrial cleaning products and equipment Safely lifts up to 50lbs Collaborates as part of a team with high expectations for accountability, inclusivity, and respect List of Duties
