The PositionWe are currently in search of an individual to play a pivotal role in air emissions management and reporting for our clients. You will be working with them, using our industry-leading emissions management software, to manage the quantification and development of the air emissions inventory, and identify opportunities for emissions reduction.

Responsibilities and Duties● Work closely with clients to understand their operations, processes, equipment, and emission sources. Collaborate effectively to gather accurate data for inventory development.

● Import, enter, and validate data in Process Ecology's Emissions Advisor software.

● Utilize Process Ecology software to quantify air emissions from various sources, including greenhouse gases, volatile organic compounds, and other pollutants.

● Work with client environmental personnel and operators to develop facility and equipment inventories that meet reporting requirements, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.

● Prepare and review regulatory reports and submit to regulator reporting portals.

● Analyze emissions data to identify opportunities for reduction and improvement.



Collaborate with clients to develop practical strategies to ensure compliance and reduce their air emissions.

● Interpret emissions data, trends, and patterns. Communicate findings and recommendations to clients in an engaging manner.

● Conduct training for clients to educate them about emissions management best practices and regulations.

● Stay updated on relevant air quality regulations and emission reporting standards to ensure clients' adherence to regulatory requirements. Provide expert guidance on compliance matters.

● Review best practices for corporate emissions reporting for better assurance of emissions reporting consistency.

● Support further automation of data management and calculation activities, proactively identifying areas for improvement within the emissions reporting and management process.

● Assist in the development of systems / workflows for regulatory compliance.

The CandidateIndividuals with the following traits, skills and experiences should apply:

● Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field

● Experience in relevant air emissions reporting is an asset. At this time, we are looking for candidates with up to 5 years of experience relevant to air emissions reporting and management.

● In-depth knowledge of air quality regulations, emission control technologies, and environmental compliance is an asset

● Familiarity with air emissions reporting regulations in Western Canada, particularly for benzene, methane, GHG, and NPRI reporting is an asset

● Programming skills/experience is an asset

● Experience with process simulators is an asset

● Strong time management, prioritization, and organizational skills

● Strong communication skills

● Ability to be proactive in ensuring client regulatory requirements are met

● Ability to work on simultaneous projects





● Excellent oral and written English (fluency in Spanish is an asset)
