Pay: $23–$26/hour based on experience Travel / LOA: $45/day when travelling from Kamloops (EMC provides transportation to and from site) Hours: Mon 8 / Tue 10 / Wed 10 / Thu 10 / Fri 8 Candidates welcome from: Kamloops and Merritt About the site Nicola Substation is a major BC Hydro station near Merritt. Work is outdoors on an active substation construction site supporting civil, electrical, and carpentry crews. The work - Assist carpenters with formwork and other carpentry-related tasks - Assist electrical and civil teams with above-ground and underground cable and infrastructure - Clean site, organize,



and transport tools and materials - Support the crew as directed Requirements - Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s licence - Physically fit and able to work outdoors on a construction site - Willing to take direction and work as part of a crew - Drug and alcohol testing required - Safety tickets an asset (list what you have) Prospect This is expected to run for a few months, with potential for longer-term work and an apprenticeship path for the right candidate.
