Barminco Mining Services is looking for an Experienced Maintenance Lead Hand to work at the Red Chris Mine in northern British Columbia. This role demands expertise in diagnostics and a solid mechanical foundation, ideal for your career progression.

Reporting to the Maintenance Foreperson, you will ensure the safety of your team while managing maintenance tasks efficiently. This role includes coaching mechanics, overseeing quality control measures, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Lead the team in optimizing equipment performance in a quick-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Act as a mentor and guide for crew troubleshooting and repairs
• Oversee quality control checks on equipment in the workshop
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and standards




• Direct daily maintenance activities in accordance with production needs
• Support the planning and scheduling of maintenance tasks

Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent needed
• Heavy-Duty Equipment Technician (421A) certification required
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience in mining
• Knowledgeable in maintaining various underground equipment
• Capacity to work in extreme conditions for extended shifts
